The Three F’s of Genie Whispering

Ali freely admits that she would rather face genie wizards than her own parents, but their new wizard allies have bad news for her. After researching the old records, they’re certain they need more whisperers to break the spell binding genies to humans. Reluctantly, Ali agrees they must go to Malta and discover which of her parents is the whisperer.

With Gary’s aid, picking out which parent they need is easy—but it’s the only easy thing about this. Ali’s parent is dead set on removing her from the genies and everything to do with them, while Tavor will accept nothing but the outcome he desires. If Ali can’t convince her parent to join them willingly, Tavor will not hesitate to force them. Ali doesn’t know if she could ever forgive herself for standing back while her original family was manipulated . . . but she will not allow her new family to remain slaves, no matter the personal cost.
