I’d always been more than a little on the timid side. It took me being fired and a lot of frustration to follow in Lacy’s footsteps and go see what this “blue on the rocks” business was all about. Then I met Steven and my entire world blew wide open.
As soon as he told me about the Farwalker, I knew what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted what Lacy had told me about and I wanted to find the same kind of feeling, the same kind of belonging that I now knew was possible.
Then I met them, my Farwalkers, and found my way to a new home in them. They teach me new things, help me learn the shape of my place in the universe, and give me so much pleasure I don’t know what to do with it all.
I love them, I love each of them, and when the Inn makes us an offer, we all take it with open hands and as much enthusiasm as we can muster. My home is with them, with my Walkers, and I’ll never need anything more.
